Pink Leopard Manicure

I got almost all the colors from China Glaze's Up & Away collection awhile ago, and I've been wanting to use this pink but there've just been so many other colors that it just kept gettin pushed back...I was watching discovery channel and saw these leopards and noticed their fur is gradiant...so I decided to do a pink gradiation version of their fur

I used Deborah Lippmann's Don't Call Me Baby over China Glaze's Something Sweet. Don't call me baby is perfect for gradiants because it's sheer, yet builds up color very nicely.

This manicure was a little too girly for me...what do you guys think?

Sephora by OPI - IM beauty

I've had this color for a couple weeks now and just wanted to try it on...it's a light yellow jelly, very pretty but I don't think it was intended to be opaque...i put on 3 thick coats, and kinda screwed up my right hand because I got so impatient waiting for it to dry...it still wasn't opaque at that point and I didn't want a visible nail line, so I added the black tips...I love the color and wouldn't mind the lack of opaquness if my nails were shorter...but it just didn't look right now that my nails have gotten kinda long

I used: Sephora by OPI - IM beauty

Happy Birthday - Deborah Lippmann

I hunted for WEEKS for this nail polish and I FINALLY found it!!! I've been debating whether I should layer it over a single color or just wear it bare and I finally decided to wear it bare...i LOVE LOVE LVOE this polish! No matter how I move my hands, there's just a sparkle to it I can't stop staring at my hands =D This is w/ two coats...

Orange, Fuscia, Purple Manicure

I was looking at all my nail polishes and wanted to do a manicure w/ a couple different colors, and lined up these three bottles together and loved the color combo. I was also feeling girly and wanted to use different colored rhinestones so this is what I came up with =)

I used:
China Glaze - Grape Pop (I love love love this color...I just can't ever seem to truly and accurately capture it on camera)
Sephora by OPI - Domestic Goddess (I've really been loving this color lately...I normally love greys, blues, greens as these seem to go better w/ my skin...but ever since I bought this color I've really been loving pinks and purples...it's SUCH a great color because it looks feminine yet at the same time is SO edgy)
Sephora by OPI - Hi Def (I'm really lovin all these Sephora by OPI colors because theyre all so trendy and apply so well, this color definitely pops and looks so good in person w/ the black french tip)

St. Patrick's Day Manicure #3

So this morning's St. Paddy's manicure was really buggin me and I really wanted to take it off...so I was flippin through a nail mag when I saw the pic below...I was initially just tryin to see if I could recreate the look by dotting black polish over my existing polish with a eyeshadow brush, I ended up really liking the look and decided to do a whole manicure

I used: China Glaze - Four Leaf Clover

St. Patrick's Day Manicure #2

I wanted to change up the previous St. Paddy's day nails I had...I kinda don't like these though...they're just blahh...but I'm definitely lovin the green...I had to adjust the colors of these pics to show the true color of the nail polish...it's still leaning more blue than it actually is...it's definitely more green in real life...I've been takin pics on my iphone lately cause I can't find my camera for the life of me...hence the heavy green tint of my pics...

I used: China Glaze - Four Leaf Clover

Rhianna Inspired Manicure (part 3)

So I really loved the colors in this chunk of the vid and had to go for a look like it...I wanted to do random stripes but I probably shoulda done a more definite pattern cause it just looked like I couldn't put on stripes straight...I finally managed to find a bottle of Happy Birthday from the Lippmann collection today from nordstroms so I painted a coat on each nail and added pics of those too...I mixed a couple diff colors for both the red and the blue since I didn't have anything similar to the blue and red from the vid

These are w/ Lippmann Happy Birthday:

Rhianna Inspired Ruffian Manicure (part 2)

Part 2 of the Rhianna 'Rude Boy' music vid manicure...so I was pretty excited for this manicure...and was a lil dissapointed at the results...I think I should've frankened a better purple cause the one I used was too dark...but then again I've noticed nail polish color usually changes and lightens after a day of wear and since I just painted em right now and uploaded, hopefully they'll lighten up...

I played around a bit w/ the colors cause it's night and it just wouldn't capture the purple correctly...but it made my hand look all photoshoppy...wuddya guys think? I think it looks cute as a manicure, just didn't capture the colors so well of the Rhianna vid...

Colors I used were:
China Glaze - Grape Pop (from Up & Away collection)
Essie - Lolipop
